Brian P. Bronson, JD, Esq.

Brian Patrick Bronson is an associate of the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of Social Security Disability, ERISA, Disability Insurance (Long-Term and Short-Term Disability Claims), Veterans disability, and criminal defense. Mr. Bronson is a lifelong resident of Unity Township and currently resides in East High Acres with his wife, Liznelia, his two sons, Bradan Padraic and Brody Quinn, and a daughter, Brooklyn. Brian’s wife Liz, is a graduate of Duquesne University with degrees in Biochemistry and Nursing. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse with the Veteran’s Administration and works at the VA hospital located in Oakland at University Drive. Brian is a member of the National Rifle Association and is an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Brian is the son of two educator parents, who both served long and distinguished careers with the Greater Latrobe School District and the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit #7. He is a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School and was twice selected as an All-Conference Football Player, with a First Team All-Quad South Selection in 1994. Mr. Bronson also served as the President of the Pennsylvania Junior Classical League from 1993-1994. He was a member of the Westmoreland Youth Symphony, where he was a violinist and was selected for the All-District Orchestra on two separate occasions. Mr. Bronson also received the honor of being selected to play in a televised Side-by-Side concert with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the direction of the renowned Lorin Maazel. Mr. Bronson received his B.S. from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania in 1999, where he majored in Business Administration, and his law degree from the Duquesne University School of Law (Cum Laude) in 2002. Mr. Bronson is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the Federal District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals. While at Bucknell University, Mr. Bronson was a three-time letter winner on the Varsity Football Team participating in the NCAA-Division 1-AA Patriot League. He was twice selected as the Player of the Game for his performances against Cornell University and Towson University. In 1998, Mr. Bronson received the George Rieu Award given to the most outstanding linebacker or defensive lineman. Mr. Bronson was also a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity-Kappa Chapter where he served as the Sargeant of Arms, or Kustos. While at Duquesne Law School, Mr. Bronson earned the C.A.L.I. Award in the subject of Criminal Law. He also served as a member of the Duquesne Law Review where he authored 2 published articles: The California Open Primary Act Unconstitutionally Burdens Political Parties’ Associational Rights: California Democratic Party v. Jones, 39 Duq. Law. Rev. 845 (Summer 2001); and Pennsylvania’s Common Law Right to Privacy Inadequately Protects the Rights of Individual Workers’ Compensation Claimant from the Harassment Caused by Video Surveillance. 40 Duq. Law. Rev. 523 (Spring 2002). Mr. Bronson is a member of the Westmoreland County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR), and the Ned J. Nakles American Inn of Court. Mr. Bronson has attended the American Conference Institute’s National Forum on Litigating Disability Insurance Claims and the annual NOSSCR national conventions. Mr. Bronson also serves on the board of directors of Laurel Legal Services, Inc., an organization that provides free civil representation to low-income citizens. Mr. Bronson is also a part of Operation Standby, which assists the JAG Corps in providing representation to Armed Services personnel. Brian has been selected as a Rising Star by the PA SuperLawyers magazine in 2010, 2011, and 2012.

David F. Chermol, Esq.

Dave Chermol is the Lead Partner at Chermol & Fishman, LLC, a law firm that focuses on federal court appeals of unfavorable ALJ decisions across the entire United States. He is a former GS-15 Special Assistant United States Attorney for SSA-OGC. Dave served as co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Social Security Disability Committee for several years. In March of 2014, he was awarded the National Association of Disability Representatives’ Member of the Year Award. He serves by court appointment as the Social Security disability pro se appeals panel coordinator in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania – the first of its kind in the nation. During the 2008 campaign, he served as regional co-director on disability issues in Pennsylvania for the Obama campaign. Dave is the lead partner at Chermol Insurance Solutions, which helps other disability representatives assist their clients with their Medicare Advantage needs. Judson B. Perry, Esq.

Mr. Perry is a graduate of The University of Tennessee and The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University. After completing his studies, Judson served as a Law Clerk to the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board where he wrote legal opinions and advised the Commissioners on the Board. Since leaving the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board in 2001, Judson has devoted his career to exclusively representing injured workers in workers’ compensation matters, as well as claimants in Social Security Disability and SSI cases. Judson is currently the principal at Perry Disability Law, P.C. Mr. Perry is a member of the Pennsylvania, Dauphin County, and Cumberland County Bar Associations. He previously served three terms as Chairperson of the Dauphin County Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section, and he is currently on the Board of Directors; Judson also serves on the Board of Directors for the Dauphin County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Bar Association, as well as the Equal Professional Opportunity Committee. Judson is a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and he is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice where he serves as the Co-Chair of the Social Security Disability Section and serves on the Nominating Committee. On three occasions, he had the honor of being named a Rising Star by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers publication, and a Super Lawyer for the subsequent 12 years by the same publication.

Steven M. Rollins, Esq.

Mr. Rollins served in the Social Security Administration (SSA) from 2019 through 2024. As a member of the Senior Executive Service, he directed SSA’s Office of Disability Policy most recently as Associate Commissioner after serving as Deputy Associate Commissioner. Before joining SSA, he was the Director of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Disability Determination for more than four years. He entered that position after owning and managing Rollins Law Office for 15 years. In his firm, he represented individuals with cases involving Social Security Disability Benefits and Supplemental Security Income at the administrative and federal district court and circuit court of appeal levels. He was a former legal counsel to the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of General Counsel, where he defended SSA’s decisions in federal courts. Mr. Rollins has lectured on Social Security law for many organizations. These include the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. He has also lectured for various support, insurance, and medical groups. Mr. Rollins received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
