Dr. Gilman maintains both a clinical and forensic practice; providing individual, couples and family therapies, in addition to a myriad of forensic interventions. including, Parenting Coordination, Co-Parenting Therapy, Parent Coaching, Mediation, and Family Interventions in which a child resists contact with a parent. Dr. Gilman obtained her doctorate (Ph.D.) from Tulane University.  Having trained at premier pediatric settings, including a residency at Johns Hopkins Medical School/The Kennedy Krieger Institute & 3-year fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital/The Ohio State University, Dr. Gilman is a recognized expert in Pediatric Mental Health. As a psychologist & mediator, Dr. Gilman uses dispute resolution techniques to help define the issues and gain understanding, discover hidden interests and create options for breaking impasses and improving conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills. Dr. Gilman facilitates communication among the parties so that the parties can independently set goals and objectives together for mutual implementation. 

Elisabeth Molnar brings 20 years of dedicated family law experience and an enthusiasm for helping families through difficult transitions, now to her practice at Pollock Begg. She joined as a shareholder at Pollock Begg in 2024. Elisabeth enjoys the challenge of complex custody cases, including those involving expert testimony from psychologists and social workers. She complements her background and skill in civil litigation with certification in collaborative law, providing clients with representation options to meet their unique needs and circumstances. A Duquesne University School of Law graduate, Elisabeth worked for a year at a Pittsburgh civil litigation firm where she developed a talent for and found satisfaction in leading successful cross-examinations. Finding the most fulfillment in family law cases, she joined Raphael, Ramsden & Behers in 2004, focusing exclusively on family law matters for the next two decades and delving into alternative dispute resolution with her collaborative law training. Taking an active role in hiring, mentoring and training young associates, she was named as a partner at Raphael, Ramsden & Behers in 2010 and promoted to shareholder in 2017. She served in this role until her transition to Pollock Begg in January of 2024. Along the path of her career in Family Law, she worked to level the legal playing field for children and families in need, serving on the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership. Additionally, she served as chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Family Law Section for two years (2020-2022) and served as co-chair of its Children’s Issues Subcommittee for several years prior. She also served on council for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section in 2014. She has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since her year of eligibility and was previously a Rising Star. In keeping with her collaborative work, she is a current member of CLASP, as well. She has served on several nominating committees immediately following her leadership roles in order to mentor other young professionals and encourage them to engage in leadership. She focuses her nominating and recruiting practices on diversity and gender equality.

Elle Barr is an experienced family law attorney with a deep commitment to serving children and families. For over two decades, Ms. Barr has represented clients in all family law matters, with an emphasis on serving as a court appointed GAL in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ms. Barr graduated with high honors from Rutgers University School of Law and began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Lee B. Laskin, J.S.C. in Camden County, New Jersey. Following her clerkship, Ms. Barr represented the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety as a Deputy Attorney General. She also served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender and as a Court Appointed Law Guardian for the state of New Jersey. Following these roles, Ms. Barr represented abused and neglected children as a GAL for KidsVoice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Divorce Mediator with collaborative training and certification as well, Ms. Barr has the unique ability to effectively manage the heightened emotions often found in family law matters. She is respected by her peers and recognized for her zealous advocacy. Ms. Barr’s empathizing nature allows her to build a strong trusting relationship with clients, ultimately leading to a more comprehensive understanding of each particular situation. Clients value her logical thinking, kindness, and unwavering commitment. Currently, Ms. Barr serves as a GAL in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also serves as the Judicial Education Coordinator for OurFamilyWizard. In this role, she educates judges, lawyers, and other family law professionals on the online tools that are used to reduce conflict and increase accountability in high-conflict co- parenting situations. She frequently travels across the U.S. to represent the company and speak at key events such as industry conferences and continuing legal education seminars.

Judge Eaton is the former Administrative Judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Family Division and former Supervising Judge of the Adult Family Division where she has served since January 2000. She attended Penn State University, graduating in 1978 with a B.A. in Journalism and remains an active member of the Penn State Alumni Association. At the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Judge Eaton was president of the Class of 1981 and the commencement speaker. Prior to her election, she was shareholder in the firm of Rose, Schmidt, Hasley & DiSalle, PC, where she managed the firm’s matrimonial section. During her career as lawyer, Judge Eaton also served as Chairman of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Bench Bar Committee (and recipient of the Bench Bar Olbum Award) and the Chair of the Family Law Section’s Public Service Committee, where she co-founded the Pro Se Motions Court program, assisting low-income parties through the court system. She is a featured presenter in the “Judicial Interview of the Child” video, a program used to educate judges, lawyers and parents in custody cases and an initiative by Judge Daniel Clifford of Montgomery County when he was the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Family Law Section. She also is a presenter and commentator in the PBA Family Law Section’s video “Tips and Tools for Better Co-Parenting” which is widely disseminated throughout Pennsylvania. In 2017, she received Allegheny County Bar Association’s Philip Amram Award for professional excellence and dedication to the ideals of the Bar Association. She received the James McGregor Award for contributions to the community and is a member of the Board of Governors for the Pitt Law Alumni. She received the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Pro Bono Award for outstanding contributions to Pro Bono activities and is a Fellow in the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. She was named Woman of the Year, receiving the Ma1jorie Matson Award, from the Pitt Women’s Law Association, and she is the recipient of the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section’s Exemplary Service Award. A frequent guest professor for family law classes at both Pitt and Duquesne Law Schools and is a presenter on Family Law at “New Judge School” for newly elected judges across Pennsylvania. Judge Eaton lectures on family law matters at local, statewide and nationwide programs, and is a member of several committees in the Allegheny County Bar Association and previously served on its Board of Governors for two terms. She currently serves on the Supreme Corni’s Domestic Rules Committee. She is a former member of the Juvenile Rules Committee and the Juvenile Court Judges Commission. She serves on the Intergovernmental Pennsylvania Commission for Domestic Law which advises the legislature regarding Domestic Relations issues.
