NOTE: Most but not all of our programs in Philadelphia are held at our own conference center in the Wanamaker building. Those directions are on this page. Other programs are held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the Federal Courthouse, and elsewhere. First check the location on the announcement for the event you will attend. Then use the directions below, if appropriate, or follow this link for directions to other Philadelphia sites.
The CLE Conference Center
We are in the John Wanamaker Building, Juniper Street entrance between Market and Chestnut Streets.
Parking is available in the LAZ Parking Garage.
Security
Visitors must check in at the Wanamaker Office Building security desk to gain access to PBI. Tell the guard you are attending a PBI program. Provide your name and photo identification so the guard can issue you a visitor’s pass to swipe at the electronic elevator gates for access to PBI on the 10th floor.
Handicapped Access
Our facility in Philadelphia, The CLE Conference Center, is accessible to the handicapped. The center is on the 10th floor of the Wanamaker Building, between 13th and Juniper streets on Market St. The building lobby on Juniper Street has an automatic door on the left side. Once inside, facing the entrance to Macy’s, there is an elevator to the far left of the lobby, which goes down to the parking garage and up to the lobby. Take the elevator up one level and then cross back over (south) to the other wing of the mezzanine lobby to get to the elevator bank that takes you to the 10th floor. The Wanamaker Building’s restrooms are also handicapped-accessible.
The Wanamaker Building (above Macy's)
Enter the Wanamaker Office Building through the South Lobby doors on Juniper Street and take the escalator up to the security desk. Check in with the security staff to get a visitor’s pass. Swipe the pass at the electronic gates to access the elevators for PBI’s Conference Center. PBI is located on the 10th floor directly across from the elevator doors.
From Northern & Western Suburbs
Take I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) to Exit 344 / Rte. 676 East. Follow signs to Central Philadelphia. Take 676 East and exit at Broad St. / Rte. 611. Turn right onto Broad St. heading south and proceed to City Hall. Stay in the middle to left lanes of traffic. Circle around City Hall to the right. After completing 1/2 of the circle and traveling through two signal lights, get into the extreme right lane to veer right onto Juniper Street. The basement parking garage (Five Star Parking) will be located on your immediate left as you veer onto Juniper Street.
From Pennsylvania Turnpike From the North or the East
Follow PA Turnpike to exit signs for I-476 South, Exit 327 or 25A, depending on which direction you are traveling. Take I-476 South to Exit 16A / I-76 East to Philadelphia. Stay on I-76 East for approximately 12 miles. Exit at #344/Rte. 676 East. Take 676 East and exit at Broad St./Rte. 611. Turn right onto Broad St. heading south and proceed to City Hall. Stay in the middle to left lanes of traffic. Circle around City Hall to the right. After completing 1/2 of the circle and traveling through three signal lights, and passing South Broad Street, get into the extreme right lane to veer right onto Juniper Street. The basement parking garage (Five Star Parking) will be located on your immediate left as you veer onto Juniper Street.
From the West
Follow PA Turnpike to exit 326 (old exit 24) (Valley Forge exit) and the Schuylkill Expressway. This is Route 76 East to Philadelphia. Stay on I-76 East for approximately 12 miles. Exit at #344/Rte. 676 East. Take 676 East and exit at Broad St./Rte. 611. Turn right onto Broad St. heading south and proceed to City Hall. Stay in the middle to left lanes of traffic. Circle around City Hall to the right. After completing 1/2 of the circle and traveling through three signal lights, and passing South Broad Street, get into the extreme right lane to veer right onto Juniper Street. The basement parking garage (Five Star Parking) will be located on your immediate left as you veer onto Juniper Street.
From I-95
Take I-95 to Exit 22 Central Philadelphia / Rte. 676. Follow signs for Callowhill Street. Take Callowhill St. to Vine St. / Local Traffic Lane (you will be heading west). Turn left onto Broad Street heading South and proceed to City Hall. Stay in the middle to left lanes. Circle around City Hall to the right. After completing 1/2 of the circle and traveling through two signal lights, get into the extreme right lane to veer right onto Juniper Street. The basement parking garage (Five Star Parking) will be located on your immediate left as you veer onto Juniper Street.
From Philadelphia International Airport
Take I-95 to Exit 22 Central Philadelphia / Rte. 676. Follow signs for Callowhill Street. Take Callowhill St. to Vine St. / Local Traffic Lane (you will be heading west). Turn left onto Broad Street heading South and proceed to City Hall. Stay in the middle to left lanes. Circle around City Hall to the right. After completing 1/2 of the circle and traveling through two signal lights, get into the extreme right lane to veer right onto Juniper Street. From New Jersey
Take Ben Franklin Bridge (Rte. 676) to Philadelphia. Follow signs to Vine Street / Local Traffic (you will be heading west). Turn left onto Broad Street heading South and proceed to City Hall. Stay in the middle to left lanes. Circle around City Hall to the right. After completing 1/2 of the circle and traveling through two signal lights, get into the extreme right lane to veer right onto Juniper Street. The basement parking garage (Five Star Parking) will be located on your immediate left as you veer onto Juniper Street.
