Timothy Sechler Esq., CELA
Mr. Sechler is the owner of the Sechler Law Firm, LLC, located in Mars, PA. His estate planning and elder law practice is focused on guiding clients through the complicated maze of balancing transfer strategies, wealth preservation, benefits eligibility and the preservation of family values. He is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. He received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his Master of Business Administration from the Duquesne University Donahue Graduate School of Business. Mr. Sechler received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University, majoring in finance. Mr. Sechler is a Combat Veteran, having served in Afghanistan as a member of the West Virginia Air National Guard. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as well as the Pennsylvania Association of Elder Law Attorneys. For the last several years, he has also been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Katie Dang
Katie Dang is the founding attorney of The Kate Law Firm, providing primarily estate planning and elder law advice to clients throughout southcentral Pennsylvania. Katie has practiced estate planning for over a decade, getting her start advising military servicemembers and retirees on their plans that often involved multiple jurisdictions. She is a commissioned U.S. Army Reserve officer and serves on the Penn State Dickinson Law faculty as an Adjunct Professor of Military Law. She is a reformed Wall Street corporate law attorney, which is where she started her career after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, earning both undergraduate and law degrees.
Julie Colton, Esq.
Julie R. Colton, Esq. Ms. Colton is a partner at Voelker Colton, LLC, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she teaches Family Law. Prior to joining Voelker Colton, she clerked for Judge Kim D. Eaton in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas,Family Division, and worked for various family and civil law firms. Ms. Colton is active in the Pittsburgh area Matrimonial Inns of Court and the Allegheny County Bar Association Family Law Section, where she serves on council and co-chairs the Court Relations Committee. She is an Allegheny County Bar Foundation Young Fellow. Ms. Colton received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and has been trained in mediation, collaborative law and parenting coordination.
