About

It starts with working a few evenings or weekends...

Before you know it, the long hours, demanding workloads and competitive environment lead to little to no separation between work and home. This progression will eventually impact quality of life, professional satisfaction and firm productivity.

As attorneys, we have all experienced the difficulty in maintaining a work-life balance, and have known someone who has struggled with this balancing act. We also know that it is not easy to find ways to maintain a work-life balance.

But that’s changing.

Senior staff in law firms all over the country now recognize the importance of implementing more flexible working policies, both for themselves and for their staff. There is a growing emphasis on eliminating the lawyer burnout, depression, and addiction that has plagued the practice for years.

Join us on April 11, as we discuss the advantages and benefits for law firms and attorneys when there is a focus on improving work-life balance.

This program will include how you can you help your firm (and yourself!) achieve a better work-life balance by exploring initiatives and policies that lawyers, law firms and bar associations have put into practice to promote attorney wellness and quality of life, including:

  • Mindfulness training & stress reduction techniques
  • Strategies for balancing childcare, senior care obligations, and family sick leave
  • Best practices for working remotely and in a hybrid environment
  • The Wellness Pledge (It’s time for you to take the pledge!)
