Due to ongoing construction at our Philadelphia facility, day one of the Institute will no longer be in-person. Both days are now live webcasts only.

The event of the year for every elder law professional is back!
The first day of the Institute will consist of one track of the most important topics presented by dynamic and talented faculty. The second day of the Institute offers the session choices that you have come to love about the Institute. We will offer a "build your own" Institute in a virtual format that you can take from the comfort of your home or office. Join us this year as the Elder Law Institute continues to provide you with the practical teaching with realistic solutions to everyday and unexpected problems in elder law.

The Institute is the Go-To Event of the Year
The Institute is the premier event of the year for everyone practicing in the elder law field. You'll be updated on all the newest developments, including proposed guardianship legislation, special needs trusts and home and community based services waivers. With 23 sessions, you can create a learning event best suited to your practice.

The Institute Kicks off with the Always Popular "Year in Review"
Take this opportunity to stay on top of all of the significant developments in elder law in our opening session. In this energetic discussion, you will be taken on a journey through all of the new and important case law and regulatory changes. It's the perfect way to explore what is happening across a broad spectrum of elder law issues. You'll also get a glimpse at what is on the horizon in elder law.

New this Year! Martin Shenkman joins us to explore important elder law topics
On day one, Martin Shenkman will present a session on planning and drafting irrevocable trusts, as well as a session on chronic illness planning. You won't want to miss the valuable information he will provide.

Back by popular demand! Avi Sacks will share practical insights about social security disability
We are offering you a chance to watch the introductory session that Avi presented at the Elder Law Institute in 2021. Once you sign up for the Institute, you will have access to a link for the previous program in your electronic library. Be sure to watch this session in preparation for the deep dive that Avi will take this year to provide some practical take-aways.

Public Interest Attorneys - Scholarship Available!
The PBA Elder Law Section is offering scholarships for public interest attorneys who are elder law section members. The scholarship will cover registration fees as well as hotel and reasonable travel expenses. The funds will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
